The classes will rotate through multiple skill sets, providing students who repeat classes at Blue Hill Farm more opportunities to learn from all the skill sets listed above. If you become a a homeschool group that schedules with us frequently, we will make sure to keep the rotation of activities different than the previous classes.
Participants in all age levels will engage with systems on the farm and homestead including:
-Earth based construction
-Mature fruit and nut orchard
-Establishment of new kids gardens
-Pond with grove irrigation
-Zone 1, 2, 3, and 4 homestead systems
-Newly established mushroom garden
-Water catchment
-A working homestead
This course is a Permaculture Skills course because we are able to provide students with a basic conceptual and philosophical background, while students will dive into hands-on building, crafting, and learning.
